WWE and Disturbed: Top 10 Songs by Disturbed That Would Make Great WWE Themes Posted: 14 Oct 2010 04:39 PM PDT What's up bleachers? Rader's back with another slideshow. I've been spending some time in the soccer section lately but I decided to come back with another slideshow for wrestling. This one's a little different, though. If this one works out then I might do some more with other bands. In this slideshow I will be saying 10 songs by Disturbed that would make great themes for WWE superstars and for WWE ppvs or WWE shows today. I don't know about you guys, but I think Disturbed is a great band. They have great songs and when I hear most of them i think "Wow this would make a great WWE theme song." So I decided to make a slideshow about it. Also thanks to fellow bleacher report writer Michael Orteiga for encouraging me to make a slideshow like this. So I hope you all enjoy and feel free to comment.
DecadenceA good song by Disturbed, not one of their most famous, but it seems like a good song for WWE. WWE Superstars Theme: CM Punk- Decadence means lifestyles; it would fit Punk's "straight edge" persona. Edge- I'm not sure why, but this song seems like a good fit for Edge, so I went with it. WWE PPV Theme: Night of Champions
Just StopAnother not so famous Disturbed song but every time I hear it I think "WWE!" WWE Superstars Theme: Chris Jericho - As soon as I heard the line in this song that said "to be the best in the world," I immediately thought Chris Jericho. It seems like a good fit for Jericho. WWE PPV Theme: Royal Rumble Bragging Rights WWE Show Theme: WWE Superstars
The NightOne of Disturbed's best songs with one of the best melodies. I can see this as a WWE Theme. WWE Superstar Theme: Kane- This melodious song would be great for Kane. It fits his mysterious character and the whole "into the night" thing seems good for Kane. WWE PPV Theme: Hell In A Cell
Inside the FireThis song is one of those songs that isn't very popular but it is well-known by enough people. I wasn't too sure about this one, but I went with it because it sounds like a good fit for WWE. WWE Superstars Theme: Kane- This is another Disturbed song that would be good for Kane. This song is one of the more mysterious Disturbed songs and it fits Kane nicely. CM Punk- I know it looks like I'm repeating superstars but after hearing the song I realized that it would be a good theme for Punk. Just the way it sounds and the lyrics seem to scream CM Punk.
Ten Thousand FistsThis song seems like a good song for any superstar (most likely face). I also think that it would be a good song for a tag team. The "Ten Thousand Fists in the Air" can be the fans of that superstar, and of course the fans would put their fists in the air whenever this superstar came out. WWE Superstar Themes: Christian - Who doesn't love Christian? He's definitely one of the most misused wrestlers today. Christian's one of the most charismatic wrestlers and this song would be good for him because he would get a hell of a lot of fists in the air from all of his "peeps." WWE PPV Themes- Wrestlemania - Come Wrestlemania everyone's excited well imagine this song as the theme. It's an exciting song and everyone would respond to it by putting their fists up. Summerslam - The second biggest PPV on the WWE calendar for the exact same reason as the one above.
WarriorOne of Disturbed's newest songs coming off their new album "Asylum," which I loved by the way, is an electrifying song that would make a great WWE theme. WWE Superstars Theme: Chris Jericho - If there's an warrior in WWE it's definitely Chris Jericho, and this theme would show it. Y2J is one of the best wrestlers ever and he truly is a warrior. Triple H - Another warrior but in a more kingly way. Triple H has done it all in WWE and this song would fit him nicely. He's been in every match and wrestled every major superstar in the business and he's always battled like a warrior. John Cena - WWE would probably do it. WWE PPV Theme: Royal Rumble - You have to be a Warrior to win the Royal Rumble, right? Money In The Bank Survivor Series WWE Show Theme: Raw Smackdown
Down with the SicknessOne of the best and most popular Disturbed songs would make a good theme for WWE. Of course, they would edit out the end of the song. WWE Superstars Theme: Randy Orton - I think it fits him nicely. Sorry I can't really elaborate on that but it just sounds right. Listen to it and tell me what you think. WWE PPV Theme: Extreme Rules TLC
AsylumAnother one of Disturbed's newer songs from it's most recent album. This is another great song by a great band. I can't really see this as a superstar's theme, just PPVs, so tell me if you think it fits any superstars and I'll edit it and mention your idea. WWE PPV Theme: Elimination Chamber- This was the first PPV that popped in my head when I heard this song. The Elimination Chamber and Asylum; it just sounds right, doesn't it? Hell In A Cell
StrickenAnother one of Disturbed's best songs and this has been used by WWE before during New Year's Revolution but I think it fits in a few other ways. WWE Superstars Theme: Randy Orton - He's stricken for the WWE championship and he'll do anything to get it. A perfect theme for Orton. Sheamus WWE PPV Theme: Fatal 4 Way Elimination Chamber Wrestlemania
IndestructibleArguably Disturbed's best song along with Down with the Sickness, Indestructible is the perfect WWE Theme because that's exactly what WWE is: Indestructible. WWE Superstars Theme: Triple H - He is one of the most dominant wrestlers the WWE has ever seen and this would be a good fit for him. WWE PPV Theme: Wrestlemania- Indestructible. Summerslam- Indestructible. WWE Shows Theme: Raw Smackdown WWE Superstars Any show
Honorable Mention and WWE LegendsOther Disturbed Songs That Can Be Good WWE Themes: Stupefy Sons of Plunder Voices WWE Legends That Could Fit With A Disturbed Songs: Stone Cold Steve Austin - he had one Goldberg The Rock Chris Benoit
ConclusionSo this is it, guys. Tell me what you think and if you come up with a superstar or PPV for any song leave it in the comment and I might add it on. And if you guys liked this and want me to make another one tell me and leave some bands in your comments for me to consider. Thanks bleachers and peace out.
