| Top of the Top Ten Hula-Hooping Songs - Cockney Violin Posted: 21 Aug 2010 09:15 PM PDT Don't know why Top Ten lists always start at the end; it's all a matter of opinion anyway! Watching someone hula-hoop dancing just sends me right into Theta. When I give up my puny efforts to twirl a hoop, I sit back and soak up the lovely sight of my dancing daughter. She did a little spontaneous first-time busking last night at a street festival, takes her hoop everywhere and there happened to be a terrific blues band playing. (and some great drumming and reggae from the 4:20 crowd at the other end where yrs truly wanted to hang out but was gently steered away by the kiddies) After a couple of people said "put out a hat!", we thought hey why not, and did. Hour and a half later she was glowing from the thrill as much as from the exertion, and was 42 dollars and a bag of mini-doughnuts richer.
