Top things to do in Fort Collins: A three-day planner Posted: 19 Aug 2010 12:59 PM PDT Five new movies, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, outdoors activities and some fine concerts are on tap the next three days in Fort Collins. Details follow. Today Art – Colorado: Early Days, an exhibit that looks at the history of our state through documents, photos, maps and more, is on display at CSU's Morgan Library, second floor, room 202. The exhibit is on display through Sept. 2; gallery hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Info: www.colostate.edu. Climbing – Learn about rock climbing basics, including details on gear and different types of climbing, at a free clinic starting at 6:30 p.m. at REI, 4025 S. College Ave. Info: www.rei.com. Film – The New Belgium Outdoor Bike-in Cinema continues its six-week run with a showing of Caddyshack starting at dusk at New Belgium Brewing Co., 500 Linden St. Arrive on your bike, enjoy a beer and take in the movie on a big screen. They are Lottery Ticket, a PG-13 comedy starring Bow Wow as a kid who must hide for three days from neighbors who want his $370 million lottery ticket; Nanny McPhee Returns, a PG tale starring Emma Thompson as a magical nanny who helps a mom (Maggie Gyllenhaal) and her daughters on the family farm; Piranha — Real D 3D, an R-rated horror movie about a group of people who must band together to survive the man-eating fish; The Switch, a PG-13 comedy/drama starring Jason Bateman and Jennifer Anniston in a tale about a woman who doesn't know that her child of seven years is from her best friend; and Vampires Suck, a PG-13 comedy that spoofs other vampire movies.
